Skills for Success Scholarship

The Caymanians First Charitable Foundation Skills for Success Scholarship Programme is designed to encourage and support hardworking Caymanians who demonstrate financial need. The scholarship provides financial assistance, academic support tools, and access to vocational and technical training programmes, empowering recipients to achieve their educational and career goals while contributing meaningfully to the development of the Cayman Islands.

The Foundation Scholarship supports programmes pursued locally within the Cayman Islands and also offers overseas scholarship opportunities at Miami-Dade Community College which ranked number four (4) among Public Schools-Regional Colleges and number 18 among all schools in the South Region.

Who can Apply

Eligibility Criteria

• Be Caymanian.

• Be enrolled in, applied to or accepted to, an accredited vocational and training institution overseas or locally that’s approved by the Foundation.

• Demonstrate financial need.

• Demonstrate good character, discipline, and leadership potential.

• Show commitment to community service and personal development.

Selection Criteria

• Merit and Potential. 

• Alignment with the Foundation’s mission and focus áreas.

• Leadership ability and community involvement.

• Fair and Transparent.

• Based on Merit, need and alignment with Cayman’s future workface.
