ELOISE CASH

Eloise Caymanian Account for Skills & Homeownership

Matching effort with capital

The Story Behind the Name

Named in honour of a woman who understood the power of responsibility.

This program is named in honour of Ms. Eloise Seymour, the mother of Don Seymour.  Eloise was a Caymanian taxi driver for 45 years who saved every penny she could and believed that hard work should be matched with opportunity.

She was a disciplined saver who understood the power of responsibility and the importance of matching effort with support. When capital was scarce, she pledged her home and her savings to unlock opportunity for her son. The rest is history.

The CASH program carries that same principle forward

Save early

Invest patiently

Match effort with capital

Build something last

“She pledged her home and her savings to unlock opportunity for her son. This program carries that same principle forward — save early, invest patiently, match effort with capital, build something lasting.”

A Capital Formation Program for Caymanians

ELOISE CASH gives every eligible Caymanian child a financial head start—beginning with a CI$1,000 investment at birth, disciplined long-term investing, and the ability to use that capital for education, skills, homeownership, and entrepreneurship.

This program is built on a simple belief: when effort is matched with capital, opportunity becomes ownership.

The Problem

Cayman’s economy creates opportunity, but many Caymanians lack access to capital to capture it. The constraint is not talent or effort—it is first-mile funding for education, tools, housing deposits, and business starts.

The Solution

CASH creates a long-term investment account for eligible Caymanian children, opened early and invested for growth, so capital is available when it matters.

How CASH Works

Why This Works

Compouding

Compounding over 18 years turns small, consistent contributions into meaningful capital. Time is the most powerful financial tool available.

Matching

Employer, Family and Cayman Islands Government matching dramatically accelerates outcomes. Every dollar matched is a multiplier on opportunity.

Direct Impact

Funds go directly to individuals, not programs — results are measurable, transparent, and accountable to real families.

Eloise Cash · Illustrative Outcomes

What Happens When You Do Nothing
vs Invest Early

12% nominal annual return · Child's age 0 → 25 · Values in CI$

Do Nothing (CI$0)
Seed Only (~CI$7.7k at 18)
+ CI$500/yr Family (~CI$31k at 18)
+ CI$1,500/yr Match (~CI$83k at 18)
+ CI$2,000/yr to 25 (~CI$170k at 25)

This is the cost of not investing in Caymanian children.

Seed only → CI$7.7k
+ Family → CI$31k
+ Full matching → CI$83k
+ CI$2k/yr to 25 → CI$170k
